How do I mute the microphone during a call on the Garmin DriveSmart 86

1. When you're on a call, the in-call options screen will be displayed on your Garmin DriveSmart 86.

2. On this screen, you'll see various options for managing your call.

3. To mute the microphone, tap the "Mute" button[1][2].

4. When muted, the other person on the call won't be able to hear you, but you'll still be able to hear them.

5. To unmute, simply tap the "Mute" button again.

It's worth noting that if you accidentally close the in-call options screen, you can easily reopen it. Just select the caller icon from any screen or from the map[1][2]. This will bring back the in-call options, allowing you to mute or unmute as needed.
