What documents are required for tariff approval under section 23a EnWG

The tariff applications should include all necessary documents for review[1]. According to the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA), the applicant is required to file a petition before NEPRA for determination of its tariff in a form and manner as required under the NEPRA Laws[2]. A complete and accurate Feasibility Study must include[2]:
* Item-wise break down of major components of the project[2]
* Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and corresponding costs[2]
* Capacity and energy data and tariff table(s)[2]
* A detailed implementation schedule and payment schedule during construction[2]

For written submissions to the Bundesnetzagentur:
* Applications should ideally be on single-sided A4 paper and must be signed[1].
* It is recommended to send them to the Bundesnetzagentur by registered post, along with the other documents required under section 23a(3) EnWG[1].
LNG facility operators also need approval under section 23a EnWG to levy tariffs and are subject to special rules[1].
