CM-Multisite-Lite
This is our new lightweight plugin to create a Multisite experience with WordPress without going into the complexities of WordPress native Multi-site feature.
This is very simple to setup your WordPress website serving multiple front end domains and subdomains.
Setup Instructions:
- Install a normal, simple, single WordPress on your main domain.
- Create a 'Contributer' role user for each front end domain and/or subdomain. Put the domain or subdomain url in that user's website field.
- Create posts in WordPress admin and set author to the username on who's website you want to publish that post.
Note: Don't forget to point each front end domain to your main domain in your hosting control panel. This process varies on different hosting providers of if you have your own managed or un-managed VPS or dedicated server. This plugin can be used to create a multi-author blog system where each author can have a separate subdomain or even a separate domain where only his/here posts will be shown.
